Park Rules
Camper commits, along with their guests, children, and visitors, to comply with any and all park rules, be it on our website, posted signage around the park, or as conveyed by our team. Please show courtesy and consideration to your neighbors and all park visitors. Camper acknowledges that their right to use the campsite is granted as a license agreement and does not constitute a lease agreement, thereby acknowledging that they do not acquire any property interest or tenancy rights. By making a reservation, they hereby attest that all information provided, including but not limited to name, address, and party size, is accurate and valid. Camper understands that any false information may result in legal action to the fullest extent of the law. We reserve the right to refuse registration privileges to anyone. To ensure a pleasant stay, please observe the following rules:
1. Speed limit inside the park is 5 MPH. Excessive speed will not be tolerated.
2. Quiet time is 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Children under 18, not under adult supervision, are required to be at their home campsite during Quiet Hours. Children must be accompanied by an adult in facility.
3. Motorized Equipment. No motorized equipment emitting sound and exhaust is permitted to be operated during quiet hours.
4. All RVs must look and function as they were originally intended. Unsightly or damaged vehicles are not permitted on the premises. All RVs and campers must be capable of being driven or towed by the owner with a 24-hour notice. We do not allow RV drop-offs or arrivals by commercial drivers. If we determine that you are unable to remove your camper on your own for any reason, you will be asked to leave the campground immediately.
5. The maximum capacity per site will be (1) family unit or a party of no more than eight (8) persons. No more than one (1) RV may occupy a site. Two (2) motorcycles are the equivalent of one (1) motor vehicle when determining campsite capacity. Exceeding this occupancy limit is strictly prohibited.
6. Pets are welcome, only when these rules are followed:
Two pet limit per site.
All pets must remain on a leash, unless in the pet relief area.
No pets are permitted in the playground, pool area, or any of the buildings.
Never leave pets unattended; Pets are not allowed to be left unattended in RVs or tied up outside unattended.
Pets are not allowed to disrupt the park with excessive noise (barking, whining, crying).
Pet owners shall be liable for any and all damage caused by their pets.
Any violations of the above rules will be fined $25 per incident. If incidents are ongoing, you will be asked to leave the park.7. Washing of vehicles in the park is prohibited.
8. The use of generators is not permitted.
9. No fires or fire pits at your space. Gas and charcoal BBQs only.
10. No parking in empty spaces or on the street – Parking is limited to your site. See office for additional parking (subject to additional charges).
11. Campers and guests are not permitted to receive mail at the campground. Any mail sent to the campground will automatically be returned to the sender. Campers that wish to receive mail while staying at the campground can open a post office box at the local Post Office.
12. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Check-in is at 2:00 PM.
13. NO tampering, adjusting, breaking, covering, or blocking sprinklers or water system. Doing so may be grounds for ejection.
14. All Park facilities are to be used at your own risk. Please abide by Park rules at all times. Failure to follow park rules can result in being ejected from park without refund.
Campground Courtesy
Do not trespass on other campsites.
No smoking in Campground buildings or facilities. Please keep cigarette butts off the ground
Firearms, archery equipment, BB guns, etc., are to be kept stored at all times.
The use of fireworks is not permitted
No items stored on-site without management approval.
Littering
The campground enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding littering. All waste must be properly disposed of in designated receptacles. Any person found littering on the premises will be subject to ejection and a fine as determined by the campground management.=
Campsite Cleanliness & Care
During your stay, you are responsible for maintaining a tidy and organized campsite, ensuring it is free of debris, garbage, unused items, or any unsightly objects.
Outside clothing racks, whether for drying or display, are strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy may result in fines or other penalties, as deemed appropriate.
Upon departure, the campsite must reflect a condition comparable to its initial state at arrival. This means it should be clean and free from any garbage.
All trash should find its way to the designated dumpsters. Should the campsite not meet these cleanliness standards, Elk Ridge RV Park Management reserves the right to charge a cleaning fee to the associated credit card that is reflective of the level of mess or damage found.
Snow
While main roads will be regularly plowed for accessibility, it is the camper’s responsibility to clear and maintain their individual campsite from snow and ensure safe passage within their immediate camping area. Campers are encouraged to exercise caution and take necessary measures to address snow accumulation and ice around their campsite for their own safety and convenience.
Winter Conditions
During winter months, campers will be responsible for providing their own heated hose connections from the water spigot to their camper. Host will be responsible for heating the water spigot. All RVs must be skirted with management-approved material. Non-approved items include, but are not limited to, hay/straw bales, plywood, and exposed insulation including “blue board”.
Site Integrity
Physical alterations to the site, or anywhere on the premises, are strictly prohibited. This prohibition includes, but is not limited to, any hard piping, decks, porches, built steps, or other forms of physical modification to the campsite or surrounding areas. All campsites and amenities must remain in their original condition as provided.
No Show Policy:
Reservations are considered no shows if they do not arrive by 8:00 AM the morning after their scheduled arrival date.
No shows will forfeit their deposit and the reservation will be cancelled (see cancellation policy below for additional charges).
Cancellation Policy:
Same-Day to 7 Days: If you cancel your reservation on the day of your stay or within 7 days prior, you will not receive a refund.
8 to 14 Days: If you cancel your reservation between 8 and 14 days before your stay, you will receive a refund of 50% of your total stay.
15 Days or More: If you cancel your reservation 15 days or more in advance, you will receive a full refund, minus a fee equivalent to one night's stay.
Visitor Policy:
All visitors must register at the front desk and pay any fees before parking and staying overnight. Parking is very limited, so each site’s visitors are permitted one vehicle, depending on parking availability.
Additional Costs:
Overnight Visitor Pass: $7.50/night per person
Overnight Visitor Parking Pass: $10/night
Visiting hours are the same as store hours for visitors who do not intend to stay overnight.
Pricing Policy
Elk Ridge RV Park reserves the right to adjust pricing at its discretion, and such adjustments may be implemented at any time during the license term. Notice of any price changes will be provided to the camper prior to their following billing cycle.
Amenities & Recreation
Management shall not be held liable or responsible for the non-utilization of amenities or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.
Damage to Property
If any damage is caused to any property or equipment in the community by the camper, by negligence, misuse or intent, or by that of his/her family, visitors, or any agent of the camper, the camper shall be responsible for this damage. The damage shall be measured by the restoration or replacement cost resulting from the act. The cost to cure such damage shall be considered additional site rent and charged directly to the camper.
Ejection
In the event of ejection from Elk Ridge RV Park for any reason, the ejected individual or group shall be permanently prohibited from returning to or re-entering the premises.
Changes to Rules and Regulations
These Rules and Regulations may be amended, supplemented, revised or modified as deemed necessary by management. I, along with my family and guests, agree to accept and abide by the revised terms without the need for explicit consent or notification.
Safety and Conduct:
Any actions or behavior that may reasonably be deemed to endanger the safety or well-being of oneself or others will result in immediate removal from the premises.
Prohibition of Commercial Activity
Engaging in any form of commercial activity within the campground is strictly prohibited. This encompasses, but is not limited to, the preparation for commercial work, cleaning, or maintenance of tools or equipment, cleaning of excessively dirty work clothes or rags, storage of business-related materials, and any other activities that may reasonably be interpreted as commercial in nature. This includes the use of the campground or its facilities, such as the laundry room, for the execution or facilitation of business tasks, whether directly or indirectly. Violation of this policy will result in immediate expulsion from the campground.
Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement
Elk Ridge RV Park (hereinafter referred to as “Campground”) shall not be liable for any damage, loss, or injury to any person or property within the Campground premises. By entering and/or using the facilities and amenities of the Campground, the guests (hereinafter referred to as “Campers”), including their family members, friends, or any other agents of the Campers, agree to the following terms:
Assumption of Risk: The Campers acknowledge and accept that camping and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to, the risk of personal injury, property damage, and loss. The Campers and their family members, friends, or any other agents involved with the Campers assume all risks associated with the use of the Campground’s facilities and amenities.
Release of Liability: The Campers, including their family members, friends, or any other agents involved with the Campers, hereby release, waive, and discharge the Campground, its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by the Campers, their family members, friends, or any other agents involved with the Campers, or any of their property, while participating in activities or using the facilities at the Campground.
Indemnification: The Campers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Campground, its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or resulting from the Campers’ or their family members’, friends’, or any other agents’ use of the Campground’s facilities and amenities or any act or omission of the Campers or their family members, friends, or any other agents of the Campers.
Damage to Property: The Campers are solely responsible for any and all damage to their RVs, vehicles, other campers’ property, or other personal property while on the Campground premises. The Campground shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused by weather, falling trees or branches, wildlife, theft, vandalism, or any other cause.
Medical Emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency, the Campers acknowledge that the Campground may not have immediate medical facilities or personnel available. The Campers assume all responsibility for obtaining necessary medical care and release the Campground from any liability related to the delay or absence of such care.
Compliance with Rules: The Campers agree to comply with all Campground rules and regulations. Failure to adhere to the Campground’s rules and regulations may result in termination of the Campers’ stay without refund.
By entering the Campground premises, the Campers acknowledge that they and their family members, friends, or any other agents involved with the Campers have read, understand, and agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement.
